FANS RETURNS

Amongst the confusion of The Club House and Cubby Hole and "clubby house" as I so embarrassingly said one friday night... comes the return of FANS. The original and the best. Returning next friday to Alhambra Lounge.

Joining FANS in their mighty comeback, will be Villains of Wilhelm (launching their EP) and Deep Sea Arcade (launching their single 'Lonely In Your Arms'). As well as Brisbane locals, Running Guns and The Sulphur Lights.

As well as your favourite FANS djs to make sure you party well into the night.

Friday night saw the release of Comic Sans' EP, Digital Natives, at Clubhouse, a venue boasting cheap drinks, free entry and clean bathrooms - let's face it: all three is a rarity.

Shit was hectic, I don't remember half of it and I woke up at 5am on Saturday morning on someones garage floor with a glass cut to the hand, 12 bruises on my legs and neck and a cigarette burn - the makings of a flippin' sick night.

Comic Sans played an excellent set that was truly nothing short of hectic, the overall descriptive word for the evening.

Those of you wanting to purchase the EP, Digital Natives, it will be available to the masses at Rocking Horse next week, or you can get it at the all ages EP launch scheduled for December.

This Friday, The Cairos are releasing their first single BATMAN from their Lost At Sea EP at The Troubadour.

The band have recently been gaining attention nation wide with recent supports with The Temper Trap, Wolf & Cub, You Am I and Powderfinger.

The launch of this hands down crowd favourite is set to be a killer show with support from three of Brisbane's favourite indie gems: Last Dinosaurs, The Parties Of Interzone and Vasy Mollo.

Presale tickets are $10 here
